KIGALI, NOVEMBER 20, 2018 (CISA) – Pope Francis has appointed Bishop Antoine Kambanda as the new Archbishop of Kigali to succeed Archbishop Thadee Ntihinyurwa.
The new archbishop, Kambanda, was ordained bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Kibungo in July 20, 2013. He was born in November 10, 1958 and ordained priest in September 8, 1990 at Mbare, Kigali Archdiocese during Pope John Paul II’s visit.
