NAIROBI, SEPTEMBER 17, 2021 (CISA)– The Paulines Publication Africa has organized a webinar on synodality to take place on Saturday September 18, 2021.
Rt. Rev. Maurice Muhatia Makumba, Vice-Chairman of Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB), and Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru will be the main speaker at the event themed , “For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission.”

In April 2021, Pope Francis initiated a synodal journey of the whole People of God, to begin in October 2021 in each local Church and culminating in October 2023 in the Assembly of the Synod of Bishops.
The purpose of the first phase of the synodal journey is to foster a broad consultation process to gather the wealth of experiences from people within the local church.
