NAKURU, OCTOBER 5, 2018 (CISA)-Catholic faithful, clergy, religious and laity from all over the country will gather tomorrow, October 6 at the Village of Mary National shrine in Subukia, Nakuru County for the annual National prayer day.
This year’s prayer day will be animated by the Archdiocese of Nairobi under the theme: “Family and youth: “Do not be afraid Mary, for you have found favour with God. (Luke 1:30)
The program will begin today, October 5 with, The Way of the Cross at 5pm, a talk on the theme at 8pm, a Eucharistic celebration, followed by adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 9pm, and overnight prayers (vigil).
On October 6, the program will start at 8am with preparation for Mass, confessions, presentations by the youth, and recitation of the Holy Rosary.
The Saturday Mass will begin at 10.00 a.m.
